The Arbitrum Security Program is now live

The Arbitrum Foundation is subsidizing smart contract audits for teams building on the Arbitrum Platform including apps on testnet, projects on mainnet, migrating from another chain, and dedicated Arbitrum chains.
Get audited with the likes of OpenZeppelin, Cyfrin, Nethermind and many more.
Priority Gas Auctions (PGA) & Fast Feed are now live on Arbitrum

On Arbitrum One, PGA replaces Timeboost as the transaction-ordering policy, letting senders compete for earlier ordering by attaching a priority fee to each transaction. Fast Feed complements PGA by streaming transactions and ordering information as the sequencer adds transactions to the active block.
This guide covers how PGA and Fast Feed work, when to use them, and how to get started.

What builders are debating and proposing this week.
Security Council Executes Emergency Action on Arbitrum BoLD & Stylus
The Arbitrum Security Council executed an emergency action to add a new safety guard for BoLD’s One-Step Proof system and temporarily pause activation of new Stylus contracts on Arbitrum One and Nova. Existing Stylus contracts remain fully functional, EVM deployments are unaffected, and no user funds are at risk. The pause is intended to mitigate emerging AI-assisted attack vectors while the ecosystem discusses a path forward for Stylus activation.
[Constitutional] AIP: Establish an L1 Voting Recovery System
A new constitutional proposal would establish an L1 governance path on Ethereum as a last-resort recovery mechanism if ArbitrumDAO’s L2 governance becomes unavailable. The system would allow DAO proposals to be created, voted on, and executed on L1 using ARB voting power proven against confirmed Arbitrum state.
That’s all from Builder’s Block #027. Thank you for reading, and keep building. Arbitrum Everywhere.
